M. Sayibu

M. Sayibu is a Ghanaian American writer and director whose work explores ambition, identity, power, and consequence through bold, genre-driven storytelling rooted in African worlds. His films blend spectacle with character, often using genre — sci-fi, action, crime, and musical drama — as a lens to examine modern African life, masculinity, and community.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Sayibu brings discipline, scale, and systems-thinking to his filmmaking. He is the founder of Sayibu Entertainment Group, a creative platform focused on developing globally competitive African stories with local authenticity. His work is marked by a commitment to African futurism, urban realism, and emotionally driven narratives that place African characters at the centre of stories traditionally denied to them.

Agbeko "Bex" Mortty

As Producer, Bex brings extensive industry experience spanning acting, production, and casting direction. His production credits include the Tribeca award-winning "Children of the Mountain," "Amerikafuo," and the MiSciFi triple award-winning "The B.A.T.U Project: ADAM THE FIRST." He has served as casting director on major projects including "FREETOWN," "PARADISE" (Berlinale 2026), and "Children of the Mountain" (Tribeca 2016). Bex is also an IT consultant and an enstooled chief from the Volta Region of Ghana.

Akofa Edjeani

Akofa Edjeani is an acclaimed Ghanaian actress and creative industry veteran whose career spans decades of impactful work in film, television, and theatre across Africa and internationally. As Associate Producer on THE REDRUM INTERROGATION, she brings her deep experience and creative vision to the project.

Andre (Andrews)

A Ghanaian cinematographer and Director of Photography with more than a decade of experience across feature films, television, and documentary productions. He has served as DOP on several SEG Cineland productions, including The Redrum Interrogation, Slumber Party, The Northern King, and The Shortcut. With expertise in Canon, Nikon, and Blackmagic camera systems, Andrews combines strong technical knowledge with a creative eye developed through professional photography and graphic design. His work is defined by thoughtful visual storytelling, dependable leadership on set, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cinematic images.

Editor

Michael Majid-Michel

Michael Majid-Michel is a filmmaker, editor, and lecturer. He serves as Editing Lecturer and Assistant Head of Production at GH Media School, where he teaches Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and other editing software. He has produced and edited numerous movies and TV series. His prior career in IT includes roles at Cisco Systems, Samsung Electronics West Africa, and Global Network Solutions. He holds an Associate degree in Computer Science from West London College.
